Vanguard does not make contributions to political campaigns and no shareholder assets are used for political contributions.
Vanguard has a Political Action Committee (PAC), the Vanguard Committee for Responsible Government (VCRG). The VCRG is funded solely through voluntary contributions from Vanguard officers. Contributions from the VCRG are bipartisan and are made to support the election of candidates who promote policies that uphold the best interests of our shareholders. PACs are highly regulated and all VCRG contributions are disclosed on a monthly basis to the Federal Election Commission, which makes them available publicly.
